INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ FORUM

«Current issues of management of external and customs activity and their recruitment»

Topics to be discussed:

Session 1.

General questions of customs and connected support of the development of customs area.

• Strategies of customs area. Current issues of the security of international supplies. Customs cooperation. Creation of unified customs procedures. Optimization of the customs clearance process in cross-border cooperation. Minimizing the business risks in trans-border movement of goods and vehicles. Integration in training. Problems of creating an international portfolio of competencies, professional requirements and standards of the Customs Union of the EurAsEC.

Session 2.

General issues of training the staff of the customs area.

• International cooperation in training. Educational programs and projects of the WTO. Problems of creating an international portfolio of competencies, professional requirements and standards of the Customs Union of the EurAsEC. Economic efficiency of transfer to an international portfolio of professional competencies in the field of customs brokers. Problems in training of executives and managers in the field of foreign trade. Need for further (in addition to higher one) education in the area of customs regulation and administration.

The task of the Forum is to study and to spread the technologies and methods of mutually beneficial cooperation of all actors of the foreign trade market as well as to provide staff to the processes of integration with relevant intellectual resources. Forum is planned as an additional contact area for the universities, think-tanks and other organizations involved in cross-border cooperation, customs, foreign trade and logistics. As a part of the International Network of Customs Universities, we consider the forum as a way of and information exchange between members INCU and other interested agencies.

Those topics are to be presented by the heads of professional associations, chambers of commerce, educational institutions, representatives of business community, leading students. Particular attention during the forum will be paid to the discussion of perspective partnership programs and projects

The working languages of the Forum are Russian, English and Spanish.

Forum starts on October, 29 at 10.00. The closing of the Forum is planned on October, 30 at 17.00. As a part of the program we offer the working visit of the delegations to the Innovation center of ITMO.

Opening Ceremony. Welcoming addresses by the leaders of professional associations, heads of the Chambers of Commerce, representatives of educational institutions and business community.

18.15 – 20.30

The concert performance by the creative teams representing the universities which take part in the event.

20.30 – 21.00

Closing Ceremony. Awarding with diplomas and gifts from the Government of St. - Petersburg.
